Delete your data
DeshFeed · deleting data without closing your account
You can remove anything you have posted on DeshFeed at any time and keep your account.
From inside the app
- Open DeshFeed and sign in.
- Find the question, comment or business listing you posted.
- Tap the trash icon on it, then tap Delete to confirm.
It is removed immediately, and nobody can see it after that.
By email
To have other data removed — for example a photo you uploaded — email team@deshfeed.us from the address on your account, saying what you want deleted. We will verify it is you and delete it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- The question, comment or listing itself, including its text
- Any AI-drafted answer attached to a question you delete
What is kept, and why
- Photo files uploaded with a listing stay in storage until you ask us to remove them or you delete your account.
- Comments other people wrote on your question belong to them, so they are not deleted; they are no longer shown once the question is gone.
- Your account — email address and username — stays, because you are keeping it.
- Ordinary system backups may hold residual copies for up to 30 days before they expire.
